WOMAN WITH ORANGE HAIR & RAVEN
A striking trailer mural featuring a woman with vibrant orange hair accompanied by a raven, rendered in bold colors against a dark background. The piece brings gallery-quality portraiture to an unconventional surface, proving that powerful art doesn't need a traditional canvas.

Artist's Note
“Trailers and trucks are nomadic canvases — they carry your art to places you'll never visit. This woman and her raven are perpetual travelers, appearing and disappearing in different towns and parking lots, creating momentary encounters with art in unexpected places.”
— Rachel Dinda
Inspiration
Ravens are wisdom keepers in countless mythologies. Paired with a strong woman, the raven becomes a creative familiar — an embodiment of the intuition and mystery that drives artistic practice.
The Process
The trailer's curved and ribbed surface creates natural challenges for composition. I designed the piece to use the surface geometry rather than fight it, placing the raven's wings along curves and letting the portrait's proportions adapt to the available flat areas. Weather-resistant materials were essential for a piece that would be exposed to road conditions.
Community Impact
Like the other mobile mural, this piece generates constant surprise encounters. The owner parks it at community events and markets, where it draws crowds of people who weren't expecting to find museum-quality portraiture in a parking lot.
