An immersive underwater scene inside Ursula Brewery, surrounding patrons with coral formations, drifting jellyfish, and the filtered light of a shallow ocean. The piece builds on a previous collaboration with the brewery, deepening the oceanic atmosphere into something that feels like drinking at the bottom of the sea.

“Returning to Ursula for a second mural let me push the underwater concept further. The first piece was a window into the ocean; this one puts you inside it. When you're sitting at a table surrounded by coral and jellyfish, the beer just tastes better.”

Inspiration
The continued partnership with Ursula Brewery and their commitment to the oceanic theme. Where the first mural showed the ocean, this one immerses you in it. I wanted patrons to feel like they'd descended below the surface.
The Process
Building on existing work requires respecting what's already there while adding something new. The color temperature and style needed to match the earlier mural while covering new territory — literally more walls, different surfaces, different lighting conditions. The jellyfish were painted translucently using layering techniques that let the wall's base color show through.
Community Impact
Together with the earlier octopus piece, the brewery now feels like a complete underwater environment. Patrons describe the experience as 'drinking in an aquarium,' and the brewery's oceanic branding is now fully realized across the space.
