BEAR FACE WITH GEOMETRIC CRYSTALS & ROSES
A detailed canvas piece featuring a bear's face emerging from geometric teal crystals and lush roses. The contrast between the organic fur textures and the sharp crystalline geometry creates visual tension, while the roses soften the composition into something contemplative.

Artist's Note
“Canvas lets me get into detail that walls simply won't allow. This piece started as an experiment in mixing sacred geometry with wildlife portraiture, and it took on a life of its own. The bear kept asking for more complexity.”
— Rachel Dinda
Inspiration
Bears carry deep symbolism across cultures — strength, introspection, the cycle of seasons. I paired that weight with geometric crystal forms that suggest hidden structures in nature, the mathematics beneath the fur and flowers.
The Process
I worked from a hand-drawn sketch, enlarging it digitally before transferring the outlines to stretched canvas. The bear's fur was built up in dozens of thin acrylic layers to get the depth right. The crystals were the hardest part — maintaining sharp edges while keeping them integrated with the organic elements.
Community Impact
This piece found its home quickly and has become one of my most requested prints. There's something about the combination of wildlife and geometry that resonates with people looking for art that feels both natural and intentional.
