Inspiration
The resilience of emperor penguins, surviving Antarctic winters to raise their young, paired with playful geometric abstraction. Nature and geometry are both about patterns, just at different scales.
The Process
The penguins were rendered with careful attention to their actual proportions and coloring, keeping them grounded in realism. The geometric shapes were then overlaid as a separate visual layer, creating depth.
Community Impact
As a part of the resident’s entry way to their pool area, they absolutely love the piece.
