KIDS SPACE: ASTRONAUT & ROCKET ADVENTURE
An imaginative children's mural featuring an astronaut exploring a colorful planet surface, surrounded by rocket ships, crescent moons, and whimsical planetary forms. The palette is bright and playful, designed to ignite curiosity and the kind of dreaming that leads to real discoveries.

Artist's Note
“Painting for kids is a responsibility I take seriously. The artwork they see daily shapes their imagination. I wanted every element in this mural to suggest possibility — that space is real, it's reachable, and it's full of wonder.”
— Rachel Dinda
Inspiration
Every kid who's looked up at the night sky and wondered 'what's out there?' That universal curiosity is what this mural channels. The bright, non-realistic colors make space feel friendly and inviting rather than vast and intimidating.
The Process
Children's murals require a different approach — bold outlines, saturated colors, and clear shapes that read well even to young eyes. I used non-toxic, low-VOC paints exclusively. The composition was designed to work at both child and adult eye level, with details near the floor that toddlers can discover.
Community Impact
Teachers say the kids name the planets and make up stories about the astronaut's adventures. One parent told me their child decided they want to be an astronaut after seeing the mural, which is everything I could hope for.
